There is a purpose in this world
For every living thing ~
For Flowers and trees and animals,
And birds upon the wing.
God made them all, the great and small,
The mighty and the meek,
And we should treat them one and all
With kindness when we speak.
For all that God created
is precious in His sight ~
From the songbirds in the morning
To the creatures of the night.
We must love and protect them,
And treat them with respect,
For surely we might lose them
If we treat them with neglect.
